Masjid at Ghail-bani-Hamid, Yemen
The site of the masjid is also the site of the pilgrimage of the 2nd Dai-ul-Mutlaq Syedna Ibrahim (AQ). Historically this place of pilgrimage was associated with a masjid. The new masjid is a Masjid with an enclosed corner on the south side were the mausoleum of is located.
A Jivanjee were asked to design this masjid. Inspiration was taken from the Masjid al Juyushi in Cairo which is located in a similar hill top site.
