Masjid at Obarat, Haraz, Yemen
This project again was part of the redevelopment of the Haraz area by the Dawoodi Bohra Community. This area is an agriculture community which grows coffee for a cooporative system which markets it for them internationally. Additionally it also cultivates honey again for distribution to the international market.
The project as illustrated was designed, detailed and supervised by A Jivanjee Architects.It provides a centre for community gathering and welfare work. It comprises of a masjid, a community hall, utilities and support facilities. A madrassah also operates here and data and medical welfare of this community is handled from this complex.
