Shabbirabad is a mohalla of the Dawoodi Bohra community in Karachi, Pakistan. A smaller masjid had existed since the 1950s. With growth of the community and demands for modern facilities a new Masjid was proposed.
A Jivanjee Architects were appointed as architects. Located along a busy highway it was decided to raise the building by 10 feet. The view of the masjid dominates the surrounding area. The complex has a larger masjid, and support facilities. Stone detailing dominates its elevations.
