Al Jamea-tus-Saifiyah. Karachi, Surat

Al Jamea-tus-Saifiyah Arabic Academy, a university based in Karachi, Pakistan and in Surat India built by the Dawoodi Bohra community. A.Jivanjee Architects were commissioned to provide their services for the final completion and detailing of both projects between 1984 and 1994.It involved the introduction of Fatimi architectural details and refinement into the project, as well as designing and providing new concepts for the planning of the library and residential buildings.

Mahad-u-Zahrah. Karachi, Surat

A new building was were added to both campus recently named Mahad-u-Zahrah. This building provides facilities specifically for the learning of the Quran and the development of quranic islamic calligraphy. These are the first building of its type in the history of Islam. Both projects were conceived, designed and detailed by A.Jivanjee Architects.

Al Madrasah-tus-Saifiyah tul Burhaniyah. Mombasa, Kenya.

Located on the main Mombasa Malindi road this is a teaching academy for the Dawoodi Bohra Community for children starting from the kindergarten level to secondary school level. It is designed on the teaching of all subjects on Islamic principles while having facilities for the teaching of modern sciences and languages with library, auditorium, science laboratories and administration facilities.

A.Jivanjee Architects were asked to design the proposed new campus in Saifee Park, Mombasa, Kenya. It is a 12 acre site which will house the school with sports facilities.
